Shanghai Haiyang Weather Routing Technology Co., Ltd. was established in 2001. The company formerly known as Shanghai Haiyang Oceanroutes Co., Ltd. (founded in 1985) is the earliest company engaged in ship weather routing services in China.
Relying on Shanghai Maritime University and the Swedish Institute of Hydrometeorology, we are profound experts in navigation and developing high technological software for the shipping industry. We have a long-term interest to attract the global Shipping Industry within three focal areas: (a) Research (b) Developments and (c) Operational Services.
The company has over 30 years’ experience from the global shipping community with focus on vessels' performance monitoring and optimization with respect to save life, fuel, time and money at sea. The company has a shore-based Fleet management monitoring platform "e-FleetTM" and an onboard intelligent navigation decision support platform "e-VoyageTM" to provide global weather routing services for shipping companies and for ship designing and manufacturing companies.
Both the intelligent navigation system (e-Voyage) and the electronic chart display and information system (ECDIS), which are independent-developed by the company, have obtained the Certificate of Type Approval issued by China Classification Society (CCS). The company also has Ship simulator, VTS simulator (the only domestic IALA certification, China Maritime Safety Administration VTS duty evaluation system) and other navigation simulation series products.
